Haven't had a lot of time to be around the internets between day-job, teaching, illustrating and my upcoming wedding. Even in the middle of all that I find ways to sneak fun art stuff into my day.
This will be a guest signature poster for my upcoming nuptials. Looks all scary now, but once the signatures in various fall colored inks are added, I'm hoping the tree takes on a little bit of life. In any case it was fun to make.
Been a little bit since I've updated, and there are a few things going on. First off, the above image is one of a few sketches I have done for the blog "Shut-Up and Draw". The theme this week was "song inspired images", so I chose Black River Killer from Blitzen Trapper. Check out the rest of my sketches and all my artist buds over at the website if you are so inclined.
Still doing weekly updates of THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS (THAW) written by Josh Hechinger. It is a strange webcomic that we describe as J-Pop Horror meets reality game show. THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS can be found at the comic site R+M.
I am chipping away at Lil Charlie, and still on goal to have the first comic of my devil friend ready by the end of the year. It will also be released at R+M before going to print.
Finally, a publisher has been found for a project writer Russell Lissau and I have been talking about for years. Expect more on that in the future.
...playing with. Not that I needed to divide my attention anymore at the moment, but sometimes an idea gets into your head and you have to get it out. This is just after stating the coloring process, and the black & white line art.
